Work with me
Imagine seeing your child thrive—confident, calm, and free from anxiety. That’s my mission when I work with parents like you. I’m here to support not just your child, but you as well—every step of the way. Together, we’ll empower your child to overcome their challenges, while giving you the tools and confidence to support them long after our sessions. Let’s make lasting change—together.

My Methods
S.P.A.C.E
Supportive Parenting for Anxious Childhood Emotions program
A structured and effective parent-led treatment program to help your child to overcome anxiety. Unlike other treatments, it is the parent who comes to the sessions, rather than the child, so the child does not need to commit or agree to anything! This is a treatment program created at Yale University Child Study Centre by Dr. Eli Lebowitz.

The Goulding Method
Gentle but effective
A gentle and effective way of soothing your child's overactive nervous system by helping them to feel safe, while they sleep, so that they are less anxious, and more confident, during the day.
What I love about S.P.A.C.E
As a parent, I do all the work…
Often people think that they need to take their child to see someone if they have anxiety. Sometimes this isn't an option! Maybe your child (like mine, who has selective mutism) can't fully engage in therapy sessions. Maybe you have tried getting your child to agree to make changes, but they just can't do it. I can say first-hand that this approach has dramatically helped my daughter (as well as many other families I have supported).
What the research says
Research shows that the SPACE treatment is as effective as Cognitive Behavioural Therapy (CBT). Through the treatment program, you will help your child by adjusting how you parent specifically for anxiety so that your child can:

-
Develop coping strategies
-
Reduce anxiety
-
Tolerate anxious feelings rather than avoid them
-
Build their self-esteem
-
Develop emotion regulation skills
-
Become more resilient

What happens at the sessions
The two main changes that parents learn to make in SPACE treatment are to adjust how they respond to their anxious child's anxiety, and to adjust the behaviours they are stuck in trying to help their child.
Some of the main anxiety problems treated with SPACE include:

-
Separation anxiety
-
Social anxiety
-
Generalized anxiety Fears and phobias
-
Panic disorder and Agoraphobia
-
Selective mutism
-
Obsessive-compulsive disorder
